Hi, anyone suffered/suffering from the condition and had recovered? I have tried numerous treatments, such as medications, physio, accupuncture, customise soles, but nothing works... It has been almost 8mths...
Hi. May I have a show of hands of the peeps who are attending the party on 13/12? I am n hope to meet some of u guys next week :) May Fitness Be With You! 💪
Hey guys.. Honestly didn't know carousell have groups like this. I've read thru some of the discussions and thought this group is actually active lol. Anyways, Leo here. I'm 28 this year and I weigh 103kg. This is the heaviest I've ever been.. And i think it's time for me to change this (considering I'm single and I need to find my SO asap) 😆 . My qns is, where do u gym rats go to? Is joining membership better? And how much are they? I think my biggest issue is my meal regime. Have no discipline and I'm going to change it for better this time.
Looking to shape up at age 40 but don’t have the motivation! How ?
as a beginner,is it ok that i alr start all the vigorous activities like running at 8km/h running. any advise what kind of activity i should start with¿
Health- Adopt a healthy lifestyle(food n nutrition, dieting etc) However u may still look normal(skinny, obese etc) cz only medical examinations can certify if ur healthy. Fitness- Adopt active lifestyles(sports, running, crossfit etc) However u may still look like the above. Only a fitness test(NAPFA,IPPT etc) can certify ur fitness level. Bodybuilding- Adopt a hybrid of both(health n fitness) to gain optimal physique coupled wif bodybuilding regime n mentality. However, strength may not be optimal wif reference to bodyweight. ✌️😬
I realise alot of girls (and some guys too) are obsessed with "weight loss" as they want to look skinny, i want to bring everyone's attention to this misconception. from a aesthetic standpoint, most girls are aiming for a toned body that looks thin with minimal excess flabs. As such, I propose that instead of focusing solely on decreasing that number on the weighing machine, girls, you should focus on cutting fat while toning muscles. If u can work towards looking skinnier and toned without losing unhealthy amounts of weight, isnt it a good deal? Think: would you rather be LIGHT ("weight loss") or SKINNY and LEAN (fat loss)? I have a friend she's only 160 but 60kg. She is heavy and can lift me with ease but she doesn't look bulky at all. People would agree she's skinny, in fact. Scientifically, muscle weigh heavier than fat. If u have more muscle than fat you naturally look leaner. Focus on fat loss, muscle tone, decrement in body fat percentage girls, and less on "weight loss". Cheers, hope everyone will train hard and reach their body goals!
Hello! I am 17/F and I would like to get some insights for the future :) I gym regularly, around 4-5 times a week for a year. I have been doing the split programme and now I would like to change my programme for what I'm going to do in the future. I've heard that bodybuilding is mainly focusing on the physique and appearance of the body, and not so much on the strength (e.g. fitness models). Whereas powerlifting focuses on the strength of the overall body, but not so much on the physique. I have a small frame, 162cm and 50-51kg. I want to both increase my strength and overall physique of my body, and thus I am stuck on whether I should take up bodybuilding or powerlifting. Can you guys share your thoughts with me? Thank you! :)
My neck is actually really painful. I'm not sure if its because of long working hours or my sleeping posture or maybe because i'm not excising as much. My sinseh says I have gastric issues too. Any help is appreciated!
hello! :) i am a 17 year old female, height around 157cm and im looking to lower my body fat percentage as well as lose weight to achieve my body goals! i weigh around 45-47kg, healthy bmi range, clothing size usually xs-s, and i don’t look fat but i feel flabby mostly around my arms, my thighs, and my stomach area :( my aim is to lose fat on those areas and have an exercise routine to help me keep fit! i don’t really have an exercise routine and i don’t exercise much, sometimes i play badminton with friends and family :) for my diet, i just eat normal 3 meals a day, i snack between meals and i drink alot of water :> some days i skip meals either because i feel fat or because i don’t feel hungry while on some other days i eat steamboat and buffet style but whether i don’t eat or eat a lot my weight is still the same 😂 it’s both hard to gain and hard to lose weight for me. i hope to be able to create an exercise routine that is not too much to handle for a beginner like me, and that will help me get fitter and lose weight! :D so if you have any suggestions on types of exercises that i can include in my routine to lose arm, thigh, stomach fat (planks, sit-ups, etc) or any diet tips, do share with me ☺️ especially exercise targeting arm fat because i have no confidence to wear sleeveless tops :( im also thinking of trying intermittent fasting :>
Hey guys! I was just wondering if there was a proper way to lift weights? For example : bicep curls? Went to the gym for a few months and my lower back started to hurt as I increased the amount of weights! Any tips to reduce such an issue? Thanks :)
