    my rosemary is turning brown

I've gotten a small pot of Rosemary from a great colleague as an encouragement to start planting herbs in my balcony. Somehow, the leaves are Browning and curling up at the bottom but fairly nice greenish at the top. It stopped smelling as fresh as compared to the day I got it. Am I doing it right? I was told not to water it too much as it has been raining recently. I gave it ample sun too. Appreciate your advice

my exotic chilli Bhut Jolokia Red Ghost is one and a half feet tall now but no sign of flowering.

Initially it attracted white flies but I sprayed on some aloe multipurpose mixture and it never came back. Not sure whether it is still recuperating. Sigh!
