In 2015, Singapore Post issued the first-ever augmented reality postage stamp in Singapore. This new innovation allowed buyers to scan the stamp's QR Code insert and listen to patriotic NDP songs like "Home" and "We Are Singapore" on their smartphones.
The $2 stamp you see in Picture 3 is a nice contemporary re-creation of a 4 and 10 cent postage stamp first issued on June 3, 1960 to commemorate the 1st anniversary of Singapore's self-government in 1959
Before Singapore celebrated National Day on 9 August from 1965 onwards, it did so on 3rd June every year from 1959 to 1963
Singpost sold this special collector sheet for five dollars in 2015 - if you missed out on purchasing it, here is your chance to do so for a very reasonable price
