Letting go a rarely seen complete set Rolex 14010 from my personal collection to make space for new acquisition.
The Rolex Air-King has possibly the most interesting history of all Rolex watches. It was released during the World War 2 and was designed as gifts for British RAF pilots who had taken part in the Battle of Britain.
Watch is a safe queen in very good condition, 9.5/10. This watch has a gorgeous mint black dial with sparkling silver hour markers and is keeping excellent time with good power reserve.
78350 bracelet is straight and super tight, comes with full 13 links. Clasp with code W11, period correct to the watch! Additionally, green caseback sticker with model number is still on the watch!
Entire set comes with:
1) Period correct Rolex outer box (with 14010 stick on it)
2) Rolex Green box with cushion sponge
3) Rolex punched Cert with AD stamp(Dated 1996)
3) Extra links
4) Period correct Rolex booklet printed 1995
5) Green Rolex leather card holder
6) Translation booklet
The value of this set will definitely continue to appreciate as complete period correct sets like this are getting harder to to come by.
