This someone on Carousell has been selling fake Aeroads and Ultimates at the costs of 2.4k when they're gotten a lot cheaper and ripping people off. He has claimed all his frames are authentic, directly bought from Canyon. But when we met up to ask him to clarify, he changed his tune to "This frame is actually from the same factory that makes Canyon Frames" I'm sure we have all heard that same line from OEM bike sellers.
He claims to have sold 30+ frames already so if you're someone who has bought it, I suggest you quickly ask him for a refund.
My Friend bought a Rapha Sram Aeroad in size 'S' and has since gotten a refund.
You'll realise that the bike just doesn't build up as easily, the Carbon is a little rough around the edges although the decals are quite on point. The headset will loosen up after every 20km or so after retightening and the rear brake mounting points are a little off.
PM on how to tell between a fake and a real frame. And how to avoid the fake seller!
