Made by famous Italian manufacturer Piaggio. Many identical parts with 200 models such as the late X8 200, X9 200 and GT200. In my 2 odd years of ownership, I've experienced only minor issue such as the clutch slips, and a bad Stator which were solved by a scooter guru aka Wonderful Botak. I'm considering to upgrade. There are some equipments swapped out to enhance thie riding experience; 1. Akrapovic stainless steel slip-on which gives it a sweet idle tone and smooth moans when throttling her up. 2. Bitubo race suspension which provides that adjustability to improve ride quality. Good enough to soak up the street bumps and add that little more confidence to ride harder. 3. Stock Engine Mounting w Specials which is done to eliminate engine mounting failure and the need to replace frequently. 4. Multiply Fuel Hoses which is done as the factory fitted rubber hoses are actually thin transparent tubes which turned dry and hairline cracks were found. This is quite a common wear and tear component that pissed Piaggio Owners from Vespas and MP3 riders alike. 5. Evans Waterless Coolant & Prep Fluid which converts the cooling medium from a water based to a non water based type. I've done this swap early in my ownership to prevent a water pump failure or overheating issues. Since the use of this, I had only heard my radiator fan switched on twice. Once in Vivo City carpark after negotiating through the peak hour traffic on a really hot day, and another in the ever so sauna and jumps filled Marina Square Carpark looking for a parking lot. No coolant draining is required. 6. Osram LED bulbs which enhances usage hours but reduces electrical load. These bulbs also run cooler and provide better visibility. 7. Stage 6 Brake Lever, F1 Mirrors and Tire Valves which provides that shorty feel and neat look that compliments. 8. K&N Pod Filter & Carb Re-tuning which provides more pull mid-high range supported by that sporty in-take sound. 9. Dr Pulley Sliders and Malossi Clutch Assembly Springs which aids in higher RPM launches, better throttle to engine response when upshifting and downshifting. 10. Motovation Heavy Bar Ends which gives that superior finish to the handles and helps dampen handlebar buzz. 11. Pirelli Diablo Scooter which replaces the Sava Diamonds that came standard. Among the various rubber, this is considered a premium set. Excellent tire wear life. 12. Koso Voltmeter to monitor the electrical system condition. 13. Hella Twin Tone horns which replaces that kitten beep. 14. K&N metal meshed high flow air filter accompanied by a carburetor tuning. With an increased in air-intake and re-jet, the engine breathes better and have better mid-top gains. It gives that nice intake noise with you open her up too. 15. Stainless steel fasteners replacing the stock carbon steel ones that came with the bike. The original bolts and screws would get rusty when exposed to the elements. 16. Givi Outback Trekker 42l with backrest to increase carrying load for extra helmet, canvas, tools, and a packet of nasi lemak. 17. X-Grip style handphone mount. Certainly a very good Class 2B scooter for new riders looking for an auto ride with good torque numbers and old riders alike. Decent fuel consumption at 25-27km/l that isn't fussy about petrol's octane rating. Minimal maintenance required as it does not spot a chain and sprocket system. No weekly oiling or after riding in the rain. No dirty toe caps on shoes by gear shifting. No specific motorcycle oil required as it is a dry Clutch and coil setup.
