No indoor jungle is complete without a stunning Bird's nest fern (Asplenium nidus)! One of the most popular ferns grown as houseplants, the bird's nest fern is not only easy to take care of, it's also much hardier than most ferns! Protect them from the direct sunlight by giving them some shade (bright, indirect light works best), spray them with water daily and treat them with occasional misting <3 In return, the plant will award you with lots of glossy leaves arranged in a circular pattern that resembles a bird's nest (hence the name). Bird's nest ferns have few problems and are particularly good houseplants for bathrooms, as they love the humidity. Otherwise, they do well in shaded areas and being surrounded by plants ;) Also, the bird's nest fern isn't fussy when it comes to fertilising (providing you don't over do it), but over a long period the leaves will dull and growth will come to a halt if you never provide any feed. It's best therefore to either feed very weakly once a month or so when in active growth, or at normal strength once every 6 months. Here we have a lovely variety of bird's nest fern known as 'Osaka', which features curly sides along thin long fronds ;) Only 2 pots available, get them today!
