In the year 2505, Phra Ajahn Yim Apatharoh of Wat Muang, having strong faith in the virtues of Luang Phor Thuad, came up with the wish to create a batch of Luang Phor Thuad amulets. In order to learn the methods of creating efficacious Luang Phor Thuad amulets, Phra Ajahn Yim went on a pilgrimage to the south to become a disciple of Phra Ajahn Tim Wat Changhai. While he was studying with Phra Ajahn Tim, he had the vision of creating a large-sized statue of Luang Poo Thuad to be placed in Wat Muang in order for people to pay respects along with the amulets for people to wear and carry. In order to accomplish this task, he invited Phra Ajahn Tim to come to Wat Muang to help him manage this project and Phra Ajahn Tim gladly agreed. This batch of amulets was created from many holy materials including: 1) 108 types of holy herbs (Wahn) 2) Holy herbs (Wahn) from Wat Changhai 2497 batch of amulets given by Phra Ajahn Tim 3) Holy water from Luang Phor Ngern Wat Don Yai Hom The task of pressing the amulets using the moulds started from Khao Phansa 2505 under the supervision of Phra Ajahn Tim Wat Changhai. All monks, novices and Kammakan of Wat Muang took part in the creation of the amulets throughout the 3 month Phansa period. A total of 84000 pieces of herb amulets and 1000 pieces of medals were created. The consecration ceremony was held for 3 consecutive days on 18-20 October 2505. Phra Ajahn Tim performed the ceremony to invite the spirit of Luang Poo Thuad to descend upon the ceremony to confer blessings on the amulets. Besides that, many of the top monks of the period came to participate in the chanting as well. The total number was around 30-40 and the properties and scale of the ceremony was on par with those of Wat Changhai at that time. Some of the monks who came to participate include: 1) Phra Ajahn Tim, Wat Changhai, Pattani 2) Luang Poo Nak, Wat Rakhang, Bangkok 3) Luang Phor Jong, Wat Natang Nok, Ayutthaya 4) Luang Phor Tae, Wat Sam Ngam, Nakhon Pathom 5) Luang Phor Ngern, Wat Don Yai Hom, Nakhon Pathom 6) Luang Phor Thop, Wat Phra Phuttabat Khao Noi, Phetchabun 7) Luang Phor Samniang, Wat Weruwanaram, Nakhon Pathom 8) Luang Phor Nor, Wat Klang Tha Rua, Ayutthaya 9) Luang Phor Taem, Wat Bang Khae, Thonburi 10) Luang Phor Thong-yu, Wat Mai Nong Pa Ong, Samut Sakhon 11) Luang Phor Na, Wat Jang Wang Puang, Ayutthaya 12) Luang Phor Khienon, Samnak Tham Khun Naen, Phichit The creation of this batch of amulets was under the direction and supervision of Phra Ajahn Tim Wat Changhai right from the start till the end of the consecration.
