Management Trainee (Operations)

Description: You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager and interface with other departmental managers. The Operations Department is tasked to ensure smooth, timely and professional delivery of services to our clients. This will include providing quality services mirroring the company’s value of being (1) Genuine (2) Transparent (3) Reliable. Responsibilities: • Communicating with customers to ensure their journey with the company is successful • Assist with supervision of day-to-day operations in the area of customer service and procurement • Track KPIs and prepare detailed reports for the operation department • Assist with developing effective business processes and standards of the operation department • Customer-related dispute resolution • Assist with establishment of new business units Competencies you will learn: • Active participation in strategic planning process, including developing goals, objectives and processes. • Engage with other departmental managers and relevant stakeholders. To also perform short stint in these departments to understand their role in the business • Learn about the concept of Cloud System and its importance in business operations • Able to understand and utilise the role of a field service management software, its capabilities to ensure smooth delivery of services • Work with the employees in the operations department (Both on-site & remote staffs), using cloud systems, project management software and communication channels • Understand commonly used KPIs in the operational department and its purpose to drive change in the department • Able to analyse data and using them to further improve business processes • Able to Implement a Quality Improvement Project, looking at identifying root cause problems and implementing changes using the PDSA model to drive a sustainable improvement • Learn customer service skills and the importance of clear communication • Understands and able to implement key principles of customer disputes and resolution • Active participation in the supervision of operation department and able to implement people management skills Qualification: • Degree Holder any any fields are welcome to apply • Preferred Degree Holder include Project & Facilities Management/ Business Administration, Mass Communication or equivalent • Previous experience in Operation Management or Customer Service is highly preferred • Interest in home maintenance and residential home service is an advantage • Proficient in speaking English and Mandarin • Possess good command of English for writing • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Proficient in the use of ITs and Software • Highly motivated and have a "can-do" attitude Other Matters: • Leave entitlement will be given to Trainees • Early conversion to Full-Time Employment if deemed suitable for position • Multiple learning opportunities to learn new skills • 5.5 day work week • Be part of the Management Team to develop and usher in a 21st Century Home Care Company Eligibility Criteria for SGUnitedTraineeships: • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and • (A) Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or • (B) Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
