Ang Mo Kio MRT Station (NS16)
This species originates from the shady, lowland forests of Borneo and is famed for its intensely rich fragrance. Other than its fragrance, the petals are of greenish edges and the color changes to white then contrasting purple, exhibiting the sheer elegance and beauty of nature. In fact, its name is derived from the Latin word "bellus" which means beautiful. The relative low light requirement and compact size makes this species a highly desirable orchid for high-rise growers.
