About the Author
Hugh Tan is a botanist and Associate Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences of the National University of Singapore. He has authored several books on botany conservation, horticulture and natural history. His main research areas are conservation of native plant species, conservation biology, restoration ecology and the floristics of Southeast Asian plants.
Giam Xingli is a biologist currently pursuing his MSc at the Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore. His main research interests are the extinction and invasive proneness of plants.
