Item obtained by a flight engineer on SQ 998 from Singapore to Taiwan (Taipei). He wrote a letter which he passed to me as well to Mr. Lee on the flight. He passed it to a senior cabin crew who passed it to Mr. Lee, who was seated in the first class cabin of the Boeing 747. Checks on this flight showed it was the flight Mr. Lee took this flight to meet the President Lee Teng Hui in Taiwan. It was to discuss on a possible merger with China. This meeting is highly documented as it was to be much later another meeting like this took place. For me, this is my first document with Mr. Lee's signature. I realised that there was greater intrinsic value collecting these because 1) Mr. Lee was truly someone who has done a lot for Singapore, 2) this collection made me want to know more about the history of Singapore and 3) some of these documents of our founding fathers help us remember and appreciate where we come from. Feel free to give me an offer. I'm very proud to own this as I am sure you would be too, so please give a reasonable offer. Am willing to discuss a price.
Meet at my convenience (where there's light for inspection, etc)
