This is a bit of an unconventional post, but hear me out.... Alot of people confuse Digital Marketing with Facebook Ads and Google Adwords only. I am here to tell you that it isn't necessarily the case. Digital Marketing is an umbrella term for many different things, - SEO, Content Marketing, Mobile Marketing and many many more. To keep this post short, I'll go into detail about what Content Marketing is about. So I've had quite a number of clients ask what is Content Marketing, and to tell you the truth, it is simply just sharing information for free. "But Nick, isnt it just a waste of time and counterproductive?" No. Hear me out on this one, but Content Marketing aims to give out free information for the sake of building up your brand. The moment you pass as an expert in any particular field through the contribution of knowledge and know-hows to the target community, the more reliability and referrals you will get, as you have literally proved to potential prospects that you know what you are talking about, and that people would trust and refer you to people who may be in need of your services. So how does it link back to property? Well I am no Property Agent, but Identifying your customer's main concern and then solving them is key to being a good Content Marketer. One way you could look into is by targeting a specific niche, and then hammering the hell out of it with quality content to ensure that you become the "Guru" (oh god i hate this phrase, just an example) of that particular field. Whether they are likely to convert or not, through your content, you will be nurturing your target niche to convert with custom campaigns that will be specifically targeted to towards them. Once they turn into Hot leads, you will then "Strike the iron when it is hot", Guaranteeing a high conversion rate. I am not saying you should start right away with big investments, that's crazy. But hey, give this a shot, you have to agree with me, Property Marketing needs innovation. It's almost always linear and boring. You can always start small, start a blog, blog out your thoughts and target a niche to give it a shot, then if you feel comfortable and it is working (YOUR CONTENT MUST BE QUALITY AND VALUE ADDED), then scale it.
