Price:$180 Company:Yaohan Circa:1970's Type:Store advertising Display Condition: Unused in package Dimension: approx. 15" in diameter History: Yaohan was one of the first retail company from Japan to revolutionize grocery shopping here in Singapore. Remember their first outlet in Plaza Singapura(74') followed by ones in Thomson Plaza(79'), Bukit Timah(82'), Jurong(83') & Parkway Parade(83') respectively...definitely bring back fond memories when you were out there with your parents shopping for groceries during that era. I remembered being obedient throughout the grocery shopping trip so that my parents or grand dad would approve of a coin character musical ride & an icee bear ice slushy treat before we head back home. Icee Bear display mascot can be found listed in my other listing here...check it out if you collect Rare local advertising. Memories are priceless so don't miss out if you collect Rare local advertising from the past!!!
