[Pics credited to Buyer H & Buyer J - thanks for coming back to share, so I can blog about them here ! I am grateful for this ! Thank you !] This is the 2 very classic examples of how right environment/conditions, good MOG and well management of the plants can bring forth (probably a few more other factors but for now I will just keep to these 3 to keep it simple) more constant growth of the plants. In the first case of lime plant, Buyer H brought a few plants on 15 May 2017 to my meet-up location and asked for my pruning services. They were very badly affected as serious bugs were growing on the plants. There is no way of saving the plants without serious management of the plants. I recommended my way of saving the plants. Buyer H went along with me without batting her eyes (I am sure she was worried, so did I - from getting slapped by violent buyer - thank God she is not). 😓 We did the pruning, Buyer H changed to the MOG I am selling & voilà - On 30 May, Buyer H reported back that the lime is growing very beautiful & now super fragrant too ! In fact, Buyer H has reported that her chilli plants were doing very well one week after we pruned. 😊 Yes, very beautiful as I saw the pics ! The next case was with the lemongrass plant Buyer J purchased - yes that at least 1.5m tall ones. That was only last Saturday, 27 May 2017. I didn't like the look-&-feel of the plant by the time it reaches his place. I made my recommendation accordingly and Buyer J went along with me. We harvested the leaves for a few round of nice drinks and used some for his cupboard (wardrobe ? - not sure where he went with the balance leaves) too ! What were left of that, we just planted it into the MOG Buyer J purchased from me. Yesterday, 5 days later, he actually showed me a picture of the new grown leaves. 😊 (Actually, quite a surprise for me as the progress was a bit too fast, but regardless, this is a very good news). Why I termed these examples as classic - because there are always works to be done to keep plants healthy. I always tell my buyers to treat the seeds/plants like your own children. Plants will need right conditions/environment, good quality MOG & time to nurture them into beautiful, healthy (& useful ?) plants. In your own journey of setting up your own garden, you will need to be observant, understand & know what you are doing. Do consider using very good quality and safe MOG for edibles. Don't be afraid to try or trial&-error. If it fails, at least, you gained the experience of what no to do. 😊 On the side note, if you are like potential buyer in pic#2 - who does not seem to understand the time, efforts, materials used, pain gardeners need to go through, I recommended you start from seeds, so that you can learn & feel too ! [Background of pic#2 - this guy basically lowballed me from $23 for 15 items + Smartpac 1kg envelope to $15, which includes 14 items + Smartpac 1kg envelope. He thinks gardening does not need investment, time nor efforts. Not sure what he meant by "I don't need to buy anything" - makes me feel like plants just popped up in my garden ! If that happened, I shall call my garden the Miracle Garden ! ] Anyway, thanks for reading ! Happy gardening ! Be blessed !
