Succulent Care (Free!)

Singapore / Singapura / 新加坡 / சிங்கப்பூர் (Singapore)

Provide some free information on how I care for my succulents. There are many ways to do it but this is what works for me. Repot new plants: -When getting new plants from farms, remove the soil and old root thoroughly as they are usually very dense and will easily cause root rot. -Leave them to dry for 1 or 2 days to dry out the roots and acclimatize to the new place. -For extra precaution you can spray 70% Isopropyl Alcohol all over the plants to kill any pest or bugs it might carry. -Repot in new soil and leave it dry for another 1 or 2 days. Pots: -Well Draining pots helps in air circulation as succulents don't like to sit in wet soil. Watering: -Drench the soil and let the plants drink as much as possible. Then wait a week or longer until the soil is totally dry. Repeat. Soil: -Akadama soil is my favourite because they provide good air circulation to the soil. Akadama looks dark when wet so you can differentiate when it is dry. -I prefer the bigger versions as it drains better. Thanks for buying plants from me. Hope you take good care of them. 😉 Happy planting 😀!

Just to write a note of thanks and appreciation. Although the items were inexpensive, its the speed of reply and communication buy seller that impressed me. Even before shipping, seller sent an image of the package, something which i find most sellers dont do but its a reassuring gesture to buyer that " hey, going to send this and you will receive this soon" . It makes the entire transaction very smooth and reassuring. That will make a buyer come back again. And I think I will soon, Cheers!
