Why does Carousell collect fees? Carousell collects fees to cover operational overheads and external fees imposed by our partners. This gives us the ability to build a sustainable business and improve our marketplace for users like you. 3. If I cancel my item, will the fees be returned? Yes, if the buyer or seller cancels a transaction before it is completed, all fees will be refunded to the respective parties. 4. If I buy an item, how long will it take for me to receive the item? When a buyer makes an order request, sellers will have 3 days to accept the order request and an additional 3 days to dispatch the item. In most cases, buyers will receive your item within a week. However if you are unsure, please chat with your seller to understand how long they will need to deliver your item. 5. If I sell an item, how long will it take for me to receive my money? Sellers will receive payment in their wallet when a buyer has indicated that they have received their item, or automatically 7 days after the delivery has been dispatched. If the buyer raises an issue or files a dispute, the funds may be held until the dispute has been resolved. 6. Can the buyer or seller cancel the order? Buyers can cancel their order before the seller accepts the order request. Sellers can cancel the order before the delivery is dispatched. Cancellations are no longer allowed after an item has been dispatched. 7. What if CarouPay does not work for my listings? Can I still opt for meet up? CarouPay is an additional option for buyers and sellers to deal within the app with greater convenience and assurance. However, users who prefer to meet-up to verify their items in person or just to connect can still do so :) 8. What if I want to negotiate with my buyer/seller? Buyers and sellers can chat and agree on a price before transacting via CarouPay. To enable this, buyers can make an offer through chat and which sellers can accept. An option to complete the transact via CarouPay will be available based on the accepted price. 9. What if I want to buy multiple items from the same seller? CarouPay does not support multi-quantity checkout for now. We are looking at improving our features in the near term. In the meantime, please chat with the seller to explore how they can support multiple orders! 10. What if I sell pre-orders? Can I still use CarouPay? CarouPay supports orders where sellers can accept and dispatch their order within a maximum of 6 days (3 days to accept and 3 days to dispatch before the item is auto-cancelled).
