When we speak about Japanese cuisine, the subconscious mind would agree that we are about to indulge in something of class and elegance. A joint venture between Japanese & Singaporeans, we wish to share the good meat of Hokkaido Wagyu to South-east Asia starting with Singapore. The idea is to allow the public indulge in PREMIUM QUALITY MEAT at an affordable price. We are fiercely passionate about our knifes and stern with the quality of our meat. We want to represent STRENGTH, 強さ. As a new business in town, we are looking for people to join the team and build on this business together. We are looking for Trainee Managers / Service Crew. You will be trained and taught under the guidance of our Managing Director and Floor Manager. You will learn how to serve, problem solve and practice decisive thinking. You will also be able to learn the ropes of starting and running a restaurant. • Organize marketing activities such as discount themes and promotional events on and off site with Managing Director and Floor Manager • Ensure that all staff comply to the safe food handling procedures • Engage customers in positive dialogue to ensure return business and resolve complaints from them • Assist Floor Manager in performing restaurant opening and closing • Management of repair and maintenance issues • Ensure that all fire, safety and health regulations regarding food preparation and serving is adhered to • Monitor end presentation and ensure that restaurant service and quality standards are constantly met • Ensure that food handling and hygiene regulations are followed in accordance with NEA standards • Ensure that quality, quantity and correctness of food items served and displayed are as per Company’s and Chef’s standard recipes • Assist Floor Manager & Executive Chef to plan and implement cleaning schedules for the kitchen and Hall • Check that the quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition • Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Managing Director & Floor Manager of the company.
