Yamaha U7 Teak Upright Piano

I got this beautiful upright piano back in 2010 and it was such a charmer. This stunning solid teak wood Yamaha U7 upright bears some resemblance in its design as the Yamaha U3. It features a smooth matte wood finish that would complement and fit perfectly in the living room with wooden furniture. Besides having such a rare aesthetic value, the Yamaha U7 has a sturdy, well-built cabinetry that boasts beautiful, rich and full sounds that are almost on par with a baby grand piano. You can expect Yamaha quality and craftsmanship which ensures a consistent touch, timbre, and action throughout the keyboard for effective practice and performance. You might just be a teeny bit amused to see such a model, like huh since when did Yamaha make a U7? Well, I wouldn't blame you for questioning it because this piano can be considered a vintage piece as it was introduced in the 1980s and was dubbed the 'top of the line' for Yamaha uprights then. While it might be old, about 40 odd years I reckon, you can definitely trust Yamaha's standards that its construction is almost good as new and everything still works. I would say that the Yamaha U7 is a worthy investment for both beginners and amateurs because this fine piece of musical instrument rewards players with its gorgeous and delightful sounds. It will only get better as you progress to more challenging pieces. Oh, and have I mentioned that since it has a larger cabinetry than most uprights, the sounds it makes with every key will sounds louder than average? It is like an upright with steroids. It is also value for money because you are getting the sound quality as that of a baby grand piano. Also, it is one of the few uprights that features the full sostenuto third pedal. Item Description: - 131(H) x 153(W) x 68(D) cm - Approximately 254kg - Full 88 keys - Agraffe construction, - 3 Pedals; Third pedal: full sostenuto - Hammer felt: 2-layer royal george, - Humid-a-seal pin block - Made of solid teak wood with some veneers at some places - Soundboard material: Solid Spruce - Acoustibar 2 - Full-length ribs - Grand piano key travel - Metal action rail - Balanced action - Unique stringing method - Cut thread tuning pin - Steel caster Condition: used but not abused; heating rod still works; last tuned and checked early 2019. Unfortunately, I have to let this go as I am moving to a smaller place. Slight negotiation on price for fast deal. Please contact me if you are interested in having a look at it. It will be best if you could come and give it a play to hear for yourself how amazing the piano sounds. Interested buyers are to arrange for your own piano movers.
